Peter J. Sprague

Peter is chairman of The Ultran Group board of directors.  In addition to his contributions to Ultran, he founded WAVE systems in 1989 and served as WAVE’s chairman until 2003.  Over a 30-year period, from 1967 to 1997, he served as Chairman of the Board of National Semiconductor Corporation where he saw it grow from a $20 million business to over $2 billion.  He also served as Chairman of Advent Corporation from 1975 to 1979, Aston Martin Ltd. from 1975 to 1980, and Design Research from 1967 to 1979.  He was inducted into the Academy of Distinguished Entrepreneurs at Babson College in 1985 and was given an Honorary Doctor of Laws by Babson College in 1988.  Peter holds a B.A. in Political Science from Yale University, 1961, studied Political Science from MIT in 1962, and participated in the Doctoral Program in Economics at Columbia University until 1964.

Lou Dejoie

Lou has brought invaluable advice and experience as a member of Ultran since 2003.  He has over 30 years of experience in international business, mergers and acquisitions, and technology development.  He has been involved in counseling companies in various industries ranging from start-up technology firms to Fortune 500 corporations.  After serving as an associate with what is now the New York office of Winston & Strawn, he became a partner with the “Amlaw 200” law firms of Dow, Lohnes and Williams, Mullen, both based in Washington, D.C.  Most recently, he has been a partner and Chairman of the International Law Practice Group of McNees Wallace & Nurick, a regional firm based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with over 140 attorneys.  Lou is admitted to the Bars of Pennsylvania, New York, Washington, D.C., and Texas.  He is a graduate of Georgetown University Law School where he served on the law review.

Anuj Bhardwaj

Anuj has served as President and CEO of The Ultran Group since July 2011 and on the board of directors since May 2006.  He brings previous experience in strategy consulting at the Cambridge Strategic Management Group where he advised Fortune 100 companies and from the 3M Optical Systems Division where he managed projects for advanced flat panel display products.  Anuj holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management where he was a graduate fellow in the Leaders for Global Operations program.

Kashyap Patel

Kashyap joined Ultran as its Chief Operating Officer in March 2012 and has recently been elected to the Board of Directors.  Prior to joining Ultran, he worked at Sears Holding Corporation (SHC) as a Director of Business Innovation and Transformation in the Marketing Business Unit of SHC. With a strong technical and operations background, he brings the ability to drive and accelerate Ultran’s business transformation where he manages operations, supply chain, and business/product development.  Kashyap holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the MIT School of Engineering. He was a 2010 graduate fellow of the MIT Leaders for Global Operations program. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).
